CRC 1U020A – Updated Mid-Length Handguard with a Short Gas Tube Cover

It features an updated lower section:

New mounting points for the upper bridge

Will this fit a WBP Jack full size "Stamped" receiver ? or do I need to use the WBP specific hand guards when they become available?

Hello! Yes, but some minor filing (or a bit of brute force) is required to set the handguard retainer in place as WBP's handguard retainers are thicker than those of soviet/russian AKs our handguards were originally designed for. Your best bet will be to wait till the WBP-specific handguards are restocked; we expect them to return in November. If you like the looks of the 1U020A or B, or longer 004 models - you could still get them, be ready to fit them a little, but nothing too bad there, should not take much time or serious tools other than a thin file.

We'd suggest going for the 1U020A only if you plan to use the suppressor or blast deflector, as Mini's muzzle won't clear the handguard and will pretty much blow the front apart with the blast. A safe choice would be CRC 1U040, the classic profile handguard with all the features a modern hadnguard would need.

Hello! Not this model; please see the 1U007 Short RPK handguard. They would work with Vepr models that have the classic "RPK" style of handguard with the handguard retainer. Those Veprs and VPO rifles that have a sporter/hunter lower handguard that are held with a single screw at the bottom won't work with it due to the lack of the handguard retainer our hadnguards require.
